Australian passport holders are required to obtain a valid visa prior to travelling to Vietnam. The recommended option is the Vietnam e-Visa (single entry), which must be approved before departure. Processing typically takes 3–5 working days; however, delegates should allow additional time during peak periods.

Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival into Vietnam and contain at least one blank page.
